黄石游记才写了个开头，就被打断了。先是忙碌地计划准备欧洲之行，然后从欧洲返回之后又花了很长时间纪录流水账。然后呢，又被BBC的高清纪录片吸引，欲罢不能，一直拖到现在。补完这个游记是在计划之内的，不过因为已经过去一段时间，很多细节已经记不清楚了，所以只能模模糊糊带过去算了。吸取教训，以后游记一定要在第一时间写完，才能丰富翔实啊。

还有，为什么我一开始的游记会是中英文夹杂的，我也记不得了，大概是那时候受了什么刺激，想要练习写英语吧，嗯，反正现在我只能很没脸没皮的说，俺坚持不了了。。。废话少说，言归正传吧。

计划了两个多月的黄石游终于成行了。一个星期好快啊，黄石果然名不虚传。
I planned the trip to Yellowstone National Park for more than two months. If you like nature, Yellowstone is definitely one of the must-go places.

星期六一大早六点半的飞机，经过芝加哥转机的时候，和湘蓉会合，中午十二点半到达盐湖城。顺利地提了车，按照GPS事先设好的先开往Walmart采购面包水果蔬菜，哈哈，有GPS真方便，脑筋都不用动。顺便在Walmart的麦当劳填肚子，很久不吃垃圾食品，偶尔吃两次也无妨。然后一路直奔预订好的旅馆，离大提顿公园入口处大约一个小时车程的地方。一宿无话。
Flying from Montreal to Salt Lake City took 6 hours + transfer time. There’s 2 hours time difference, SLC is 2 hours behind Montreal. We picked up our car from Enterprise, then drove 5 hours to the hotel.

第二天早上，前往大提顿公园。远远的就能看见层层叠叠的山，颇为壮观。
Next day, we entered Grand Teton National Park, which is right next to Yellowstone National Park. This NP is part of Rocky Mountains and is a lot smaller than Yellowstone NP.

先去了著名的Jenny Lake，从trail 走到 Hidden Falls，然后爬上Inspiration Point。也许当天的空气不是很清澈，虽然天晴，可是感觉灰蒙蒙的，没有拍到什么好照片（好吧，我承认我在找借口）。

然后去了信号山，却什么也没有拍到，到处都是一团雾蒙蒙的。不久以后，天色渐暗，乌云滚滚，在我们周围的山头绕来绕去，估计那最黑的一团乌云之下暴雨如注。幸好没有来到我们头上…
Afternoon, we went to Signal Mountain, it seemed to have thunder storms elsewhere. Luckly, we didn’t get caught by storm.

大提顿公园虽说是最秀丽的国家公园，可是也许当天天气不是特别好，我们总觉得大提顿不如想象中美。而且因为当天晚上的住宿定在Lake Lodge，于是我们决定离开提顿，前往黄石。进入黄石没多久，只见一座桥两边停满了车，大家都在往一个方向观望。一定是有动物啊，我们也不免俗，下了车一起观望。原来远远的有几头麋鹿。
Late in the afternoon, we left Grand Teton and entered Yellowstone. After several minutes of driving, the cars in front of ours slowed down and then stopped and parked right on road shoulder… hmmm… there must be some animals. Yes, it was several elks…

经过West Thumb的时候，太阳还没有下山，于是我们决定下来参观West Thumb。
We passed by West Thumb hot springs area, this place has several beautiful hot springs.

这回近距离看到一只鹿，悠闲地在热泉边上散步。
